Latvian-Estonian cross-border cooperation project “Baltic Organic Potato for the Worlds Markets (BALTORGPOTATO)” EU 38846
The aim of the BALTORGPOTATO project was aimed at cooperation between organic potato growers, seed growers, scientific institutes and processors, promoting the growth of production and sales of organic potato processing products on world markets.
The project was implemented:
- Assessment of External Markets of Organic Potato Starch ”(2011),
- Organic potato growing strategy for organic starch production ”(2012), within the framework of which the Baltic organic starch potato growing cluster BALTORGPOTATO (EU38846) will be established.

Research “Efficiency of taking over inheritance cases in the notary system in Latvia”
The aim of the work was to develop a methodology and analyze the economic efficiency of the transfer of inheritance cases from the state administration (court system) to a notary in Latvia.
Within the framework of the research, the functions of public administration in conducting and taking over inheritance cases were developed, methodologies for determining the efficiency of a notary were developed and the efficiency of taking over this function in Latvia was determined on 20.09.2013. for the needs of the conference “Ex post analysis of parliamentary decisions in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia”.

Scientific research “Analytical evaluation and forecast of construction price changes”
The aim of the study was to determine the most significant trends in construction price changes and to make a forecast for the next 2 years, revealing the most significant causes of price changes. Uncertainty in the prices of construction products is closely related to the uniqueness of the development of the construction sector compared to products created in the industrial sector. The topicality of the research is largely determined by the diversity of factors influencing the production processes of construction products, which is closely related to the changes in the behavior of interested market participants under the influence of various threats and opportunities.
As a result of the research, a technical proposal and a detailed analysis of the set of estimates were submitted to the RTU Faculty of Metal Sciences and Applied Chemistry and the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Scientific research methods, such as the historical approach method, comparison method, analysis and synthesis methods, etc. were used in the performance of the task.

The study is designed to look at the development of the whole territory of the country in order to improve and coordinate the support provided by the state to regions, municipalities and companies.
