INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY for full-time or part-time work at the Institute of Economics of the Latvian Academy of Sciences.

REQUIRED::

master’s or doctoral student (preferably in social sciences, especially economics)
ability to gather and work with information
interest and previous experience in research
knowledge and / or experience in preparing EU and other project applications
ability to build business relationships
excellent computer and office skills
excellent knowledge of Latvian and English
responsibility, accuracy and ability to serve

DUTIES:

participation in scientific discussions and their organization
selection, analysis and processing of input data and information
preparation of EU projects and other tender applications
development of research questionnaires and surveys
assisting scientists in day-to-day processes
work with literature and other sources of information
design of studies / projects / applications
coordination of cooperation
preparation of reports, record keeping
