Latvia and the EU: Problems in Economics, Politics, Law, Philosophy and Linguistics

Various authors (Apsitis G., Jurisone I., Kreituse I., Ostrovska I., Skujiņa V., etc.) in cooperation with the Institute of Economics of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, in 2004 published a book “Latvia and the EU: Problems in Economics, Politics, Law, in Philosophy and Linguistics ”ISBN 9984-774-01-5.

The book summarizes the materials of the autumn 2003 conference and the research carried out during the year of the co-operation project No. 17 “Latvia’s Integration into the European Union” financed by the Latvian Council of Science. The aim of the publications in the book is to show what challenges the new coalition of European countries will face and how to deal with them. This book will be useful for anyone interested in the problems of the European Union.
