Latvia’s integration into the European Union – for and against

Various authors (Karnite R., Dubra E., Berzina I., Kleinberga V., Ranka M., etc.) in cooperation with the Institute of Economics of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, in 2002 published a book Various authors (Apsitis G., Jurisone I., Kreituse I., Ostrovska I., Skujiņa V., etc.) in cooperation with the Institute of Economics of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, in 2004 published the book “Latvia’s Integration into the European Union – For and Against” ISBN 9984-9574-0-3.

This book summarizes the results of the development of the research program No. 17 “Economic, Cultural and Social Aspects of Latvia’s Integration into the European Union” financed by the Latvian Science Council in 2000 and 2001. The book is useful as a teaching aid for senior pupils and students, as well as for anyone who is interested in Latvia’s integration into the European Union.
