Maris Ankalnins, in cooperation with the Institute of Economics of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, published the book “Manual of Customs Procedures: Inward Processing, Inward Processing for Customs Control, Outward Processing” in 2000 ISBN 9984-9364-3-0,

The book deals in detail with the procedure for the execution of customs procedures for the processing of new goods, the customs documents required for their application and their execution.
