Deposits of non-residents with Latvian banks

In 2006, Maris Cevers and Raita Karnite, in cooperation with the Institute of Economics of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, published the book “Deposits of Non-Residents in Latvian Banks” ISBN 9984-774-03-1.

The book is based on the study “The Impact of the Presence of Non-Residents’ Capital on the Latvian Banking System”. The aim of the book is to acquaint readers with the structure of non-residents’ capital deposits in Latvian banks, to find out and evaluate the impact of the presence of non-residents on the development, stability and competitiveness of the Latvian commercial banking system.
