LAS Institute of Economics received a Letter of Recognition from the President of the Latvian Academy

At the award ceremony of the Latvian Academy of Sciences “The most significant achievements in science in 2020”, the LAS Institute of Economics received a Letter of Recognition from the President of the Latvian Academy of Sciences for its scientific monograph “Possibilities of increasing competitiveness of business support system in the border regions of Latvia – Lithuania”.

The monograph was developed on the basis of a study on the possibilities of implementing a business support system in Latvia and Lithuania, in which a team of researchers from the LAS Institute of Economics has developed a unique Latvian and Lithuanian border region business support system. The establishment of such a common system is an unprecedented case in the history of the Baltic States.

We thank the President of the LAS for this recognition and are proud of our contribution to Latvian science!
