The mission of the Institute of Economics of the Latvian Academy of Sciences (IE LAS) is to promote the development of the Latvian economy at regional and national levels through innovative, research-based solutions. IE LAS focuses on providing expert analysis and recommendations on economic challenges and opportunities, contributing to building a knowledge-based society and fostering collaboration among science, education, technology, and culture.
